About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team. The position offers the opportunity to work with a number of our major clients across planning approvals, biodiversity assessment, management systems and specialist survey.
Key tasks would include:
- Due diligence services
- Ecological and biodiversity field assessment
- Legislative approval processes
- Strategic input into development approval processes
- Preparation of specialist reports and management plans
- Contract administration and sub-consultant coordination

About You
As a qualified, experienced Senior Environmental Consultant, you will have obtained experience across various aspects of ecological science and environmental management projects. Development industry experience is essential. You will be proactive in your approach to work, possess good analytical skills and have the ability to apply lateral thinking to assess problems and provide positive environmental outcomes.
As a key member of the development team you can work both individually and in a team. You will have excellent project management skills, be a great communicator, understand project budgets and develop good working relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in a relevant Environmental discipline
- 10 plus years’ professional experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australia's flora and fauna and natural systems
- Proficiency in assessment methodologies and techniques
- Thorough understanding of Commonwealth, State and Local environmental legislative requirements
