WCG are a proud supporter of the YIMBY initiative in Queensland and across Australia.
YIMBY Qld, or “Yes In My Back Yard Queensland” is an initiative to discuss, recognise and promote good development which enhances everyday life. Working in development facilitation, we see and experience the impacts the NIMBY “Not In My Back Yard” attitude regularly has on good development.
To counter this YIMBY Qld seeks to bring balance back to the development debate and inform, lead and inspire both the community and development industry to encourage, deliver and celebrate innovative, sustainable, well-planned development outcomes.
