As Rio 2016 comes to a close, it seems Brisbane has caught Olympic fever with talks of hosting the 2028 or 2032 Olympic Games.
Brisbane as host city was brought to life in The Sunday Mail, pin pointing existing venues that could be used and the placement of new arenas for the games.
Our own Natalie Rayment (Manager Planning) also weighed in after being reached for comment, suggesting that the athletes village be located at Hamilton Northshore, "It has good transport connections, it's close to the Gateway if you need to get north or south and it's one of the last areas with available land. It would be an obvious choice".
