Carseldine Urban Village

The Carseldine Urban Village has achieved 5 Star Green Star certification in April 2021. 

The category achievements include - Governance, Liveability, Economic Prosperity, Environment and Innovation and a 5 star rating corresponds to “Australian Excellence in Sustainability”.

The Carseldine Urban Village is a new residential community being developed by Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) and is one of only 16 communities certified in Queensland.

The 45ha site is located in Carseldine within the Fitzgibbon Priority Development Area (PDA). The site will deliver 900 homes for approximately 2,000 residents and will provide commercial and retail spaces, sport and recreation precinct, and large areas of open space.
