This exciting new development in the inner-eastern suburbs of Brisbane, will offer a high-quality, modern facility which to date is not catered for in the immediate area.
The new five-star aged care residence , to be operated by Arcare Aged Care, will provide a built form and architectural design underpinned by the subtropical elements and design principles of the Buildings that Breathe document.
Highlighted by a strong landscape design including vertical greenery, elevated gardens, and internal planting areas, the building has been designed to optimise the infusion of natural light and maximise natural ventilation throughout the building.
The incorporation of Buildings that Breathe elements into the design of the building makes the development eligible for consideration for Brisbane City Council’s Infrastructure Charges reductions for retirement and aged care accommodation.
WCG planners are striving to secure a 33% reduction in applicable Infrastructure Charges for our client, a considerable discount when considering the scale of the development.
Many thanks to the Knowles Group for allowing us to be a part of this project and assisting with getting the development through to an approval and beyond.
