Seascape – A Well-Positioned Future.

14/09/2018

Our client Villa World goes beyond delivering a house or a piece of land. Their recent development Seascape in Redland Bay, offers designer homes situated in a growth location close to the proposed Weinam Creek marina development. The goal of this development was ‘a well-positioned future’.

Wolter Consulting Group have been proudly involved in this project from the early stages, providing Town Planning, Surveying and Environmental services.

Our Planning Team was able to obtain the approval for 99 residential dwellings and 88 land lots.

The application structure involved four separate development applications, and eight development stages, allowing the systematic release of stages to ensure cash flow for our client throughout the construction phase.

WCG team were also successful in bonding not only the uncompleted works, but also the infrastructure charges payable for the development of the homes. Pre-examination of all survey plans ensured prompt sealing of all documentation by Council; no delays with issuing of new titles by DNRME resulted in swift settlements, which guaranteed our client’s targets were satisfied.

The Community Titles Scheme shared facilities provides residents with two generous open space areas, one of which contains a pool, as well as communal kitchen, lounge, BBQ’s, and amenities.

Another open space area of the development provides a large communal garden, offering residents the opportunity to participate in gardening, as well as reaping the benefits of fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs.

The development has been designed to optimise its elevated location, and offers some of its dwellings a view out to Moreton Bay and the islands.
