Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley has always been full of surprises with clubs and pubs right next to some of the most luxurious restaurants and products as displayed on James Street. Luxury development company, GurnerTM has thrown another twist into the suburb’s DNA by developing the Elenberg Fraser-designed three-tower FV project with an estimated value of $600 million… and Wolter Consulting Group is excited to be joining the consultant team for stage 2.
From the iconic Flatiron design in stage 1, to the infinity pool overlooking the city in stage 2; this project will become a landmark within the Fortitude Valley and Brisbane.
WCG has not only been contracted for detail design but also site administration for all landscape podiums and streetscape works in stage 2. Stage 1 of construction has already started with Multiplex being responsible for delivering the first two buildings of the three-tower precinct.
Wolter Consulting Group’s Manager Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, David Uhlmann is thrilled to be working alongside Icon Co., to complete high level design work on the podium, roof and street levels.
“The podium levels, along with the rooftop infinity pool and sundeck require a high level of design and detailing. Our team will draw on our extensive experience in podium landscape on various high profile projects to assist in meeting client expectations. The FV project really will set a new benchmark for residential living in Brisbane and we are excited to be involved,” said Mr Uhlmann.
The project includes 267 architect designed apartments, along with four levels of high-end commercial and retail offerings.
Located on the Western end of Brunswick Street, the development will play a key role in the rejuvenation of the area. By offering more diverse activity and engagement it is expected to be a hub of activity.
