Redevelopment of the former ABC site on the Brisbane River in Toowong.  Grace on Coronation is a visionary residential and mixed use development designed by internationally acclaimed Architecture firm Zaha Hadid Architects based in London, together with a team of local consultants. The project comprises 3 residential towers, ranging in height from 22 to 25 storeys, and riverfront villas set amongst over 7000m2 of landscaped riverfront, publically accessible parklands and the heritage listed Middenbury House, which will be preserved, restored, adapted and opened for the first time to the public.

The WCG Value add

  • Strategic guidance to project and DA strategy, culminating in anapproval inside ten months (currently in submitter appeal by adjoining individual land owner)
  • Preparation of key planning arguments to support additional height, 10 storeys over the acceptable building height offset which underpinned project value
  • Involvement in site structure planning and identification of community dividends, which focused on the combination of public realm, heritage reuse and interpretation, and sculpted architectural design, to be the first buildings designed by Zaha Hadid Architects in Australia
