Caggara House is a five storey affordable housing complex comprising 57 x high quality, purpose-built units for seniors in the inner city suburb of Mt Gravatt East.  The project was specifically designed to achieve a balance between the overall outcomes of the Mt Gravatt Corridor Neighbourhood Plan and the needs of its future residents.  In particular, the project incorporates an adaptable common area on the ground floor that can be converted into a non-residential use once the demand for non-residential uses in Bothwell Street is established. Furthermore, to compensate for a reduction in car parking, the project incorporates a number of mobility scooter charging stations for residents’ use.
